Kangana Ranaut opens up about her preference for a life partner
NEW DELHI: For a long time, there have been all-kind of rumours surrounding Bollywood diva Kangana Ranaut’s marriage plans with many wondering if the Queen fame is following in the footprints of Salman Khan.
Known for her candid and upfront approach, the 36-year-old actress, who has done it all – acting, direction and production, opened up about her marriage plans on Friday during an event in Mumbai.
Interacting with media persons at the trailer launch of her production ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’, Ranaut said she is not in hurry to take sacred wedding vows and is waiting for the right moment.
“Everything happens at the right time, and if it is meant to happen in my life, it will surely happen. I do want to get married and have a family of my own,” she told media persons.

This is not the first time that Kangana has addressed buzz around her marital aspects of her life.
The actor has earlier stressed that she doesn’t feel a significant lack of a life partner, estimating that they would occupy only five percent of her life. She emphasized her enthusiasm for finding a life partner who complements her personality, respects her as an actress, and values her outspoken nature.
In an interview, she shared how her mother’s pressure about marriage persisted since her early years. Her mother’s concerns stemmed from the belief that pursuing a career in films and modeling would deter potential suitors. Despite these challenges, Kangana remains hopeful in her pursuit of true love.
In 2022, Kangana Ranaut candidly discussed her struggle to find a life partner, attributing it to persistent rumors about her confrontational nature. The actor humorously remarked that such rumors have created a perception that hinders her search for love.

In the past, Kangana had been in a relationship with many people with actor Hrithik Roshan and the controversy surrounding their separation being the most prominent one.

Kangana emphasized her desire to be appreciated and respected, seeking a partner who sees her beyond her fame but without arrogance.
Interestingly, Kangana has often celebrated the love marriage of her parents, sharing how her father Amardeep tied the knot with her mother Asha against wishes of their families.
