External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar conveyed on Thursday that the ongoing border stand-off with China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is not beneficial to Beijing’s interests, while expressing hope for a swift resolution. During a press conference in New Delhi, Dr Jaishankar remarked that India’s relationships with major powers have advanced over the past nine years under the Modi government, but the same cannot be said for China.
