Celebrities’ personal and professional life has always been a matter of interest for the public. But does that mean that fans are allowed to breach the privacy of celebrities? Where is the line between curiosity and breaching someone’s privacy? In a recent incident, Virat Kohli shared a video on Instagram which was shot by one of his fans and shared on social media. The video is showing a full view of Virat Kohli’s hotel room and his personal things that were there in his hotel room.

The cricketer shared the video and criticised the whole act. “I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment,” The cricketer wrote on Instagram.

After the sharing of Virat Kohli’s view on the matter many Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Kapoor, Urvashi Rautela, Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra and many others came forward to show support and criticised the incident by claiming the act as unethical, unacceptable, inappropriate and questioned the matter of privacy.

“Immoral, unscrupulous imagine they did same with a girl’s room,” wrote Urvashi Rautela.

Bollywood Celebrity and cricketer’s wife Anushka Sharma also shared the video by putting it on the Instagram story and heavily criticized the act by saying, “Have experienced few incidents where some fans have shown no compassion or grace in the past but this really is the worst thing. An absolute disgrace and violation of a human being and anyone who sees this and thinks celebrity ho! Toh deal karna padega! Should know that you are also a part of problems”

“Exercising some self-Control helps everyone. Also, if this is happening in your bedroom then where is the line,” she further added.
