As festivities unfold, scrutiny has arisen regarding potential conflicts of interest involving DM Durga Shakti Nagpal and her husband Abhishek Singh, a former IAS officer who resigned amid controversy in Uttar Pradesh. Singh appeared in a music video with B Praak in 2020, raising questions about whether there was any quid pro quo or misuse of position in organizing this festival.
