NEW DELHI: In a grisly incident, two persons including a taxi driver and a woman lost their lives that took place in East Delhi’s Mayur Vihar. A senior police official said that the deceased were identified as Suman Dhupra and the cab driver, Arjun Singh Solanki.

 

According to police, Suman was traveling with her husband, Sanjeev Dhupra, when the accident occurred. One Akash informed the police that he was driving his car from Noida to Delhi on the Noida Link Road.

Meanwhile, the errant driver’s car, coming from Delhi to Noida, collided with the central verge, flipped over, and landed on a car coming from the opposite direction. The impact caused the accused’s car to crash into the vehicle carrying Suman and the taxi driver.

 

There were three occupants in the affected car. Unfortunately, the taxi driver and Suman died on the spot, while one injured individual was rushed to the hospital. The accused driver fled the scene immediately after the accident.

The victims of the crash included taxi driver Arjun Solanki and passenger Suman Dhoopra. Dhoopra’s husband suffered severe injuries. Authorities have filed a case and are actively searching for the driver of the Bolero, who fled the scene.
