Maharashtra Deputy CM visits Ram Lalla temple in Ayodhya with CM Eknath Shinde
While Maharashtra Chief minister Eknath Shinde’s visit to Ayodhya was well known, there was little knowledge of a surprise visit as his deputy, Devendra Fadnavis, too made a ‘special appearance’.
Fadnavis was on his way to New Delhi to attend the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) parliamentary board meeting ahead of the Karnataka polls.
But the former Maharashtra CM decided to make a quick stop to join his alliance partners – the Shiv Sena leaders – for their visit to the Ram Lalla temple at Ayodhya to seek Lord Ram’s divine blessings.
The Maharashtra leaders also performed aarti and offered a gold bow and arrow at the feet of Ramlalla.
Later on, addressing the public, Fadnavis said, “Only the one who believes in Ram will rule the country.” He also said that only the one who believed in Ram had come to power in Maharashtra.
Fadnavis also shared the video showing the aerial view of the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya while on his way to Ayodhya from Lucknow along with CM Shinde.
“This is how Prabhu Shri Ram Mandir construction work is going on in Ayodhya. Aerial view from the chopper on the way to Ayodhya from Lucknow…” Fadnavis tweeted.

Fadnavis also thanked PM Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath for making their dreams come true.

Talking about his visit, Fadnavis said, “I have come to Ayodhya to take darshan of Lord Ram. Our CM, Eknath Shinde, is here to perform a maha aarti. I have come to join him, along with many BJP and Shiv Sena workers and ministers.”
“It is a great moment to see the dream of lakhs of devotees come true as the magnificent Ram temple is being built,” he said.
He also reiterated, “In some sense, whether you call it or not, the fact is India has a Hindu majority. And in that sense, it is already a Hindu Rashtra.”
