Five days after an LPG cylinder exploded in a car in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday took over the case to investigate the terror angle.
Since its inception, PFI members have been involved in many criminal activities.
The NIA probe found that a spokesperson of Hindu Munnani was killed by the members of the PFI to create terror among a particular section of people.
In some serious allegations against the PFI, the NIA said that the organisation forced youngsters to join proscribed terror organisations like Al-Qaeda, Lashkar-e-Taiba, ISS and others.
In a nationwide predawn crackdown on the PFI, the NIA, along with the ED and state police, arrested a total of 106 people associated with the organisation.
