The death of three civil service aspirants due to waterlogging in the basement of a coaching centre at Rajendra Nagar has sparked a massive protest by students outside the RAU IAS Study Circle in Delhi's Old Rajendra Nagar.
On Monday, the MCD terminated the services of a junior engineer and suspended an assistant engineer. This move comes after the incident at Rao’s IAS Study Circle on Saturday night, where the basement was inundated, leading to the students' deaths.
The meeting will take place at 3 PM today at the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) headquarters, as confirmed by an official statement.
He labeled the deaths as "not just an accidental death; I call it a conspiracy, a murder—a murder on the part of the state. The state here means the Municipal Corporation of Delhi and, of course, the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi."
