The confrontation between the two players during Day 1 of the fourth Test, which saw Kohli approaching Konstas aggressively, created a stir in the cricketing world. However, Konstas has now dismissed the incident, calling it “just cricket.”
The altercation, which occurred on the field when Kohli walked toward Konstas, closing a 50-meter distance before a brief on-field exchange, left many questioning Kohli’s behavior. “That’s just cricket,” Konstas said when asked about the confrontation. “It’s all part of the game. We’re here to compete, and sometimes emotions run high, but it’s nothing more than that.
