NEW DELHI: Air Vice Marshal Manmeet Singh assumed the position of Senior Officer-in-Charge Administration at the Headquarters of Western Air Command in New Delhi on January 1, 2025. Commissioned into the Administration Branch of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on June 13, 1992, AVM Singh brings over three decades of distinguished service to this pivotal role.
An alumnus of the National Defence College and the Defence Services Staff College in Wellington, AVM Singh holds a Master’s Degree in Defence Studies. He also earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM) in Faridabad. Throughout his career, he has held key appointments across various operational units, Command Headquarters, and Air Headquarters, demonstrating a broad spectrum of leadership and administrative expertise.

The Western Air Command, headquartered in New Delhi, is a critical component of the IAF, responsible for the aerial defense of North and Western India.
