NEW DELHI: An Indian Army vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge near the Wular Viewpoint in the Saderkoot Payeen area on 4 January in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district,. The incident resulted in the deaths of three soldiers and injuries to two others.
The tragic accident was attributed to inclement weather conditions and poor visibility, which caused the vehicle to veer off the road. Local residents played a crucial role in the immediate aftermath, assisting in the swift evacuation of the injured soldiers to a nearby hospital.
