India condemns over recent airstrikes on Afghan civilians, including women and children.
NEW DELHI: India has strongly condemned the recent airstrikes on Afghan civilians, including women and children, which have resulted in the loss of several innocent lives. The statement came from the Official Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, who addressed media queries regarding the tragic incident.
“We have noted the media reports on airstrikes on Afghan civilians, including women and children, in which several precious lives have been lost. We unequivocally condemn any attack on innocent civilians,” Jaiswal said, condemning the violence and emphasizing India’s commitment to peace and the protection of human rights in the region.

The spokesperson went on to criticize Pakistan for attempting to shift blame onto neighbouring countries for its own internal challenges, calling this a recurring pattern. “It is an old practice of Pakistan to blame its neighbours for its own internal failures,” Jaiswal added.
The statement also referenced a response from an Afghan spokesperson, who denounced the attacks and called for international intervention to safeguard Afghan civilians. The situation has drawn attention from multiple international entities, urging a thorough investigation into the airstrikes.
The airstrikes, reportedly carried out in the eastern regions of Afghanistan, have sparked widespread condemnation. These attacks come amid ongoing tensions in the region, where both Afghan and Pakistani forces have been engaged in military operations against insurgent groups.

The use of airstrikes, while targeting militants, has often resulted in collateral damage, raising concerns over the protection of civilian lives. In recent years, Afghanistan has struggled with persistent instability as various militant factions, including the Taliban and others, vie for control over different regions.
India’s response further underscores its stance on regional security and its concerns over the safety of civilians caught in the crossfire of geopolitical conflicts.
