NEW DELHI: Former Prime Minister of India and renowned economist Manmohan Singh passed away on December 26, 2024, at 92. His death marked the end of an era for India as he was widely respected for his contributions to the country’s economic reforms and his quiet yet steadfast leadership.

 

The New Indian’s Photojournalist Sumit Kumar tracked the final journey of Singh from his residence to AICC headquarters and then to Nigambodh Ghat.
