Femina Miss India 2023 will be held in Manipur in April 2023. This is the 59th edition of Femina Miss India. The Miss India Organization (MIO) organises this event which has become national event where talented women get an opportunity to represent India at the international level. The title-holder woman then gets the ability to become a role model and iconic symbol.

To enter the Femina Miss India 2023 you should be between 18-25 years. The minimum height required to participate in the contest is 5 ft 3 inches. Maximum weight for for participating is 51 kg. You should have an Indian passport to show that you are an Indian citizen. Overseas Citizen of India cardholder can apply only for 2nd runner-up title.

The 2022 title went to Sini Shetty from Karnataka. It was held on 3 July at World Center in Mumbai.Shetty was called beauty with brains by the media as she holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and is now pursuing CFA as a professional course.

Miss India is held every year and annually selects representatives to compete in Miss World, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants.

MIO hunts nationwide to select representatives from 29 states (including Delhi) and a collective representative for all Union Territories (including J&K), adding up to 30 participants. These 30 women undergo rigorous training and grooming activities, including workshops, photo shoots, awards night, sub-title competition, personal interviews and many more before they come on stage for the grand finale. The event will be broadcasted on Colours TV channel.

This time, former Miss India and Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia will mentor the state representatives.
