Srinagar: A devastating road accident in the remote Paddar region of Kishtwar district claimed four lives, while two individuals remain missing. Rescue operations are currently underway.

 

According to reports, the incident occurred at Sanyas in Paddar, involving a vehicle carrying a total of six people. Search teams are actively working to locate the missing passengers.

Union Minister of Science and Technology and Udhampur MP Dr. Jitendra Singh confirmed his engagement with the district administration, ensuring swift updates on the situation.

 

“I immediately contacted DC Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan, upon learning about the accident. Rescue operations are ongoing, and I am closely monitoring developments,” Dr. Singh shared on X (formerly Twitter).
