SHIMLA: With the wedding festivities of Bollywood star couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt just getting over, both the actors have got back to work to resume their professional commitments.
Ranbir has already reached Manali for a two-day shoot which begins on April 22 for his upcoming movie ‘Animal’. Sporting a black shirt and a pair of pants, Ranbir was seen obliging to fans’ request for shelfies in the city on Thursday.
The role of the lead actress in the film is being played by Rashmika Mandanna, who rose to fame in the Hindi heartland through her role in the South blockbuster ‘Pushpa’.
A gangster family drama that explores the dark side of human emotions, ‘Animal’ is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film will be shot extensively over the next six months. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film features Bobby Deol, Parineeti Chopra, and Anil Kapoor in key roles.
According to a report, the ‘Barfi’ star will kickstart the project’s first schedule in Manali. Ranbir has to reportedly bulk up for his role and has already initiated the process of gaining muscle mass.
Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, is expected to resume shooting for Ranveer Singh co-starrer ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani’.
