CUET PG 2025 application window opens, exams scheduled for March

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the application forms for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025.

 

Candidates seeking admission to postgraduate programmes at central universities and other participating institutions can apply online at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/.

 

The application process began on January 2 and will close on February 1, 2025. Applicants will be able to make corrections to their forms between February 3 and 5.

 

The CUET PG 2025 exams are scheduled to take place from March 13 to March 31, in 312 cities, including 27 locations outside India.

 

This year’s CUET PG offers 157 subjects. Details about the exam pattern, eligibility criteria, and other information can be found in the official information bulletin available on the NTA’s website.

 

Last year, CUET PG 2024 was conducted for 4,62,603 unique candidates, with 7,68,414 registrations across all papers.

 

Of these, 5,77,400 candidates appeared for the test, held in 572 centres across 262 cities, including nine international cities such as Dubai, Riyadh, and Ottawa.

 

In 2023, out of 8,77,492 registered candidates, only 5,39,776 appeared for the test. The debut edition in 2022 saw 6,07,648 registrations, with 3,34,997 candidates appearing.

 

CUET PG has grown in significance as a gateway to postgraduate programmes in India’s top universities.

 

With its increasing popularity, the exam provides a standardized platform for candidates to showcase their aptitude across a diverse range of subjects.

 

Interested candidates are encouraged to complete their applications promptly and check the information bulletin for detailed guidance.

 

The CUET PG is expected to draw a large number of aspirants again this year, reflecting its critical role in higher education admissions.
