CTET 2024 Admit Card to be released soon; Exam scheduled for December 14

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the admit card for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 soon.

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to release the admit card for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 soon. Candidates who have registered for the examination can download their admit cards from the official website, [ctet.nic.in](https://ctet.nic.in), once released.

In an official statement, CBSE announced, “The Admit Card will be issued 02 days before the examination date. Candidate should download the Admit Card from the official Website https://ctet.nic.in.” However, the exact date and time for the release of the admit cards are yet to be confirmed by the Board.

The CTET examination for this year is scheduled for December 14, 2024. In case the number of candidates in any city exceeds the capacity for a single day, the exam may also be conducted on December 15, 2024.

The test will include two papers, conducted in two shifts. Paper II will be held during the morning shift from 9:30 am to 12 noon, while Paper I will take place in the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

Candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V (primary level) need to appear for Paper I, while those intending to teach classes VI to VIII (upper primary level) must take Paper II. Individuals wishing to teach both levels will need to appear for both papers.

The CTET 2024 question papers will be bilingual, and available in Hindi and English. The test will assess candidates’ aptitude and knowledge to ensure their suitability as teachers.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for updates on the admit card release. It is crucial to download and carry the admit card to the exam centre, as entry will not be permitted without it.

The CTET is a mandatory qualification for individuals aspiring to become teachers in schools affiliated with CBSE and other boards across India. The results of the exam will determine candidates’ eligibility for teaching positions in primary and upper primary schools.
