Davuluri, an alumnus of IIT Madras, has been associated with Microsoft for over 23 years. He joined the company in 2001 and has held various positions, including Corporate Vice President overseeing Windows Silicon and Systems Integration.

"We have taken note, India is a democratic country. We assume and expect that the standards relating to the independence of the judiciary and basic democratic principles will also be applied in this case," the spokesperson stated.

Speaking at a daily press conference, Patel emphasised, "The United States recognises Arunachal Pradesh as Indian territory, and we strongly oppose any unilateral attempts to advance territorial claims by incursions or encroachments across the Line of Actual Control."

Both leaders agreed to intensify efforts to further bolster the Special & Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia in the coming years. During the call, they reviewed the progress in various areas of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

During his visit, Prime Minister Modi will engage in crucial discussions with Bhutan's leadership, including an audience with King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and talks with Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay.
