NEW DELHI: The 16th edition of BIOFACH INDIA 2024 has officially begun today, August 3, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida. The opening session was graced by Commerce Secretary Sunil Barthwal.
Organized by NuernbergMesse in collaboration with the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), the event runs until August 5. This year’s fair is co-located with NATURAL EXPO INDIA and MILLETS INDIA, marking a significant convergence of the organic, natural, and millet sectors.

Recently, during an international conference of agricultural economists, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the global significance of black rice. He noted that it is increasingly recognized as a superfood and highlighted its potential role in addressing global nutrition challenges.
