ARSD excelled, clinching 5th position in the NIRF Rankings 2024

New Delhi — In 2024, Atma Ram Sanatan Dharm College (ARSD) secured 5th position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) with an overall score of 72.59 under the college category.

This achievement highlights a consistent upward trajectory for the college over the past three years, reflecting its ongoing commitment to academic excellence, research, and inclusivity.

In 2022

ARSD was ranked 7th with an overall score of 70.46. The college’s strongest performance was in the Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR) category, scoring 74.18, followed by Graduation Outcome (GO) at 83.81. However, its Research and Professional Practice (RPC) score lagged at 68.02, and the Perception score was particularly low at 24.89, highlighting a need for improvement in these areas.

In 2023 

ARSD was ranked 6th  with an overall score of 70.78. The most notable improvement was seen in RPC, which jumped to 80.54, a testament to the college’s increased focus on research and professional practice. The Perception score also improved to 39.64, indicating a growing recognition of the college’s reputation. The TLR score, however, slightly decreased to 68.13, while GO remained strong at 80.52.

In 2024

ARSD secured 5th place with an overall score of 72.59. The most dramatic progress was in RPC, which soared to 94.84, positioning ARSD as a leader in research among its peers. The Perception score also continued to rise, reaching 54.87, reflecting the college’s enhanced visibility and respect in the academic community. While the TLR score saw a modest decline to 64.86, the college maintained strong performances in GO (78.35) and Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) at 73.45.

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College (ARSD College), previously known as Sanatan Dharma College, is a co-educational institution affiliated with the University of Delhi. Established on August 3, 1959, by the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha in Delhi, the college was later led by Shri Atma Ram Chadha, a philanthropist, who became chairman of its governing body in 1967.
