Another Shraddha: UP Man Cuts Lover Into 6 Pieces; Arrested By Azamgarh Police

In the wake of the Shraddha murder case, several other similar cases of lovers killing and chopping off their girlfriend’s bodies have emerged. On Sunday, Azamgarh police informed they’ve arrested Prince Yadav, the ex-boyfriend of the woman who had been dismembered and thrown in the well near Paschim Patti village on November 16.

The accused Prince Yadav was nabbed by the Azamgarh police after he got injured in an encounter. Later, he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police informed that the whole family of the accused was involved in the crime including his parents, sister, maternal uncle, maternal uncle, maternal uncle’s son and his wife. Azamgarh police are looking for the other eight accused including five absconding women.

A chopped dead body of a woman was found on Wednesday in a well in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. The hands and legs of the body were chopped off while the head of the body was still missing. The horrific crime has been reported from the Ahraula PS area of the district.

Reportedly, the accused had killed the woman for not accepting to be in a relationship with him. Explaining the motive of crime, police said that the accused was not ready to accept her tying a knot with someone else.

Police informed that the accused used to work as a wood cutter in Sharjah. They added that he was having a love affair with Aradhana, but after she got married to another person in Feb, he returned home from Sharjah.

Following that he tried to talk her into leaving her marriage but Aradhana did not agree, police said. The accused informed his parents about it after which they agreed to help him out chart out a plan to get rid of Aradhana.

This case had surfaced only days after a similar incident of Shraddha Walker’s murder came forth. The accused Aftab Poonawalla killed his girlfriend Shraddha Walker and chopped off her body into 35 pieces before dumping her in the sparse jungles of Delhi’s Mehrauli.

Shraddha was reported missing in May this year after she eloped with Aftab to Delhi. On Monday, the Delhi Police said that they got lead in the case and revealed the gruesome incident.
