In a significant development, the Mapusa Court in Goa has dismissed an FIR lodged against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The FIR was related to Kejriwal's controversial statement during the 2017 Goa elections, where he asked voters to "Take money from everyone and vote for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)".

Union Minister Anurag Thakur reacted to Aam Aadmi Party's claims that the arrested Delhi Chief Minister would run the government from jail, calling it an "insult" to the people of Delhi and "law and democracy."

The ED officials visited Kejriwal's residence to serve him a summons in the case, as he had previously skipped multiple summonses from the agency.
