An old video of Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone kissing Kingfisher scion Siddharth Mallya in an overtly public display of affection, has resurfaced online. Deepika was seen rooting for the Mallyas’ IPL team Bangalore Royal Challengers with her then-boyfriend Siddharth at Eden Garden in Kolkata.

While watching the match, Siddharth tightly held the Bollywood star to plant a full-mouthed kiss. Deepika responded by clasping Siddharth in her arms and kissing back with equal fervour, as TV cameras lapped up details of the open show of mush. Siddharth’s father Vijay Mallya was in the seat next to the couple in the VIP stands but he was busy giving a standing ovation to his team out there in the field.

Nevertheless, this was not the first incident of the couple being seen sharing a public kiss. Earlier in the same year, on her birthday, Siddharth had pleasantly surprised the actor by travelling all the way to Denmark to join her birthday celebration. Deepika was so moved by the gesture that she expressed her gratitude with a kiss.

Recently, Deepika, along with her husband Ranveer Singh, graced the first episode of Karan Johar’s controversial talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’ season 8, where she opened up about her past relationship issues.She said, “I wanted to be single for a while as I had come out of a difficult relationship. I was going through a phase where I said I just wanna be … not be attached and committed and I just wanna have fun because this is the age too and then he comes along. I din’t commit until he proposed to me. There was no real commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other. So, I did meet other people but in my mind, I was committed to him.” Soon the clip went viral on social media, after which the actor was heavily trolled by netizens.
