Khalistani pair linked to Congress leader’s murder arrested by Delhi Police

The two members of notorious Gogi Gang has been arrested in Rohini.

The apprehended Khalistan extremist Arsh Dalla members have been identified as Krishan and Gurbinder by the Delhi Police special cell

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police special cell apprehended people affiliated with the extremist Khalistan group known as the Arsh Dalla gang, who had previously been involved in the murder of the Moga sarpanch.

The persons in question, identified as Krishan and Gurbinder, were intercepted by the special cell while they were travelling on the Outer Ring Road on Thursday.

As detailed by the special cell, upon intercepting the accused, the police officers engaged in an extensive firefight with the two extremists. The Counter Intelligence team of the Special Cell offered the extremists an opportunity to surrender upon intercepting them. However, as per the officials, when asked to surrender, “Krishan fired one round towards the police team.”

 

The second member of the duo, Gurbinder, had allegedly tried to ward off the police officials by throwing a hand grenade in their direction. However, upon throwing off the grenade, it was found that the safety pin remained safely intact. Gurbinder was in the process of fishing the grenade out from his bag when the entire team overpowered him, according to police officials.

Both Krishan and Gurbinder had been accused in the murder of Congress member and Moga sarpanch Baljinder Singh Balli.  The duo, had allegedly, ridden up to Balli’s residence, pulled up to the spot, and rained a hailstorm of bullets.

Currently, further investigations are still ongoing.
