MUMBAI: The opposition INDIA alliance will hold its third meeting in Mumbai on Friday to discuss seat sharing for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Grand Hyatt hotel, will be attended by leaders of 28 opposition parties.
A top source told The New Indian that the main focus of the meeting will be on finalizing the seat-sharing formula. “The parties have been asked to come prepared with their proposals.”
The source also said that discussions will be held on who will be the convenor of the alliance.
The meeting is expected to end with a press conference at 3:00 p.m.
