Sports Fraternity Comes In Support Of Wrestlers

The Supreme Court has directed Delhi Police to file an FIR against Singh, and several sports stars have come forward in support of the protesting wrestlers.

Tennis legend Sania Mirza called for everyone to stand with the wrestlers, while former Indian opener Virender Sehwag expressed his disappointment. Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra and other sports stars including hockey star Rani Rampal, boxer Nikhat Zareen, and former India spinner Harbhajan Singh expressed their shock and pain at the situation.
