SGT Uni Students Shine At Talent Show; Win Rs.5000-Worth Amazon Vouchers

GURUGRAM: On November 10, Wednesday, a cultural extravaganza was witnessed in the Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University during the Grand Finale of ‘Talent@SGT’ organised by the Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Technology of the university.

29 students participated in this competition organised to give a platform to them, where they can showcase their talent.

University’s Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Navdeep Singh Tung, Dean Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Technology Professor Sushil Manav, Dean Student Welfare Professor Vijay Sharma and other members of the Faculty were also present in this program.

Students Tejan Singh was adjudged first, Devarjun came second and Adityawas placed  third in the music instrument category. In the mono act/mime event, Komal was in first place, Ashutosh Kumar Singh in second and Girish at number three. In the creative writing category, Mehak Bhardwaj stood first, Pravgunn Kaur second and Naman Dixit third. In singing, Zamir Abbas was adjudged first, Devrun second and Harshita third. The fifth category was for dancing, in which Akanksha stood first, Arsh Raj second and Soumi third. In the ‘Poetry Rapping and Shayari’ category, Nikita bagged first position, Hitendra came second and Lok Bhadra Singh in third position. The special title of Social Media King was given to Devansh and the special title of hooting was given to Muskan.

Judges for the ‘Talent@SGT’ were Associate Professor of Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, Dr. Mihir Ranjan Patra, script writer, director, actor; acting coach Nakshatra Bhardhwaj, experienced passionate dance performer; educator Priyanka Dutta, HOD of Centre for Languages and Communication; Dr. Sarju Devi, piano and guitar specialist; Pranay Khati and Dr. Bharti Raina from the university itself.
