WATCH | UP police kills second suspect accused in Umesh Pal’s murder case

In an encounter with police early on Monday, a man who had fired the first shots at lawyer Umesh Pal, a key witness in the killing of former Bahujan Samajwadi Party legislator Raju Pal, was gunned down. The Atiq Ahmed gang’s shooter was shot dead in a fresh encounter in Kaundhiyara PS area in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. According to police, Usman was one of six shooters who attacked Umesh Pal, a key witness in Raju Pal’s 2005 murder. Two policemen on Umesh Pal’s security duty, died of injuries later.
