Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra had their big fat wedding reception in Mumbai saw stars from Bollywood’s top brass. Alia Bhat, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor, Kajol and Ajay Devgn, Neetu Kapoor, and Isha Ambani graced their reception wearing shimmering sarees and glittering suits.
Kiara and Sidharth got married in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan’s Suryagraha Palace on February 7. Then they had their wedding reception in New Delhi – Sidharth’s hometown on the same day. Then they flew to Mumbai where they had this reception. Kiara and Sidharth’s wedding reception was full of friends whom the two have worked with in Bollywood films in the past.
Kiara-Sidharth entered their wedding festivities hall holding hands. Kiara was wearing a white and black form-fitting gown with green emeralds and diamonds while the groom wore a glittering black jacket.
Alia Bhat was wearing a shimmering grey saree and came not with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor but with her best friend and Brahmastra director, Ayan Mukerji. Alia and Sidharth are rumored to have dated and broken up in the past but the two are still on good terms. They worked together in Karan Johar’s 2012 film Student of The Year. They also co-starred in the 2016 film Kapoor and Sons.
Alia Bhat’s mother-in-law was also at Kiara’s and Sidharth’s wedding reception. And she shared an adorable moment on the red carpet with her daughter-in-law. Neetu Kapoor and Kiara Advani have worked together in the 2022 film Jugjugg Jeeyo.
Kiara Advani’s 2019 film co-star Shahid Kapoor and wife Mira Rajput were also present in the reception festivities along with Isha Ambani and husband, Anand Piramal. Karan Johar also came who has worked with Sidharth in Student of The Year and Kiara in 2018 film Lust Stories.
Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra fell in love on the sets of the 2021 film Shershaah, in which Sidharth was in the lead role playing Kargil Hero Vikram Batra and Kiara was his love interest, Dimple Cheema. They have never been outspoken about their relationship, and never even announced it publicly. But they were seen in many functions together and B-town knew they were dating.
On the work front, Kiara Advani will be seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kartik Aaryan next and Sidharth Malhotra will be seen in Yodh
