Bajrang Dal Activists Vandalises Set Of Prakash Jha Asharam 3, Throw Ink At Director, Assault Crew Member

BHOPAL: In a dramatic turn of events, the activists of Bajrang Dal on Sunday threw ink at noted director and producer Prakash Jha here when he was shooting for his web series Asharam season 3.

According to Bhopal Police, several members of Bajrang Dal arrived at the sets of Asharam 3 alleging assault on “Hinduism”.

The police said that the activists of the Bajrang dal arrived at the sets of Asharam 3 at old jail premises and thrashed one of the members of the crew and also vandalized three buses. They also smeared ink on Prakash Jha, who has directed several films like Apaharan, Gangajal and Raajneeti. According to police, the activists of the Bajrang Dal were looking for the web series lead actor Bobby Deol.

Even the video of the incident has gone viral on social media, where the activists of Bajrang Dal can be seen thrashing a crew member.

The Bajrang Dal activists also warned Bobby Deol to learn from his brother Sunny Deol, who has given several “blockbuster patriotic” films in the past.

The police officers said that they have not received any complaint from the director and they have detained four people on the basis of the viral video of the incident.
