Azampur MP and actor and singer Dinesh Lal Yadav popularly known as Nirahua said that Kejriwal’s Delhi model has utterly failed and that the party has lost the plot in Delhi and has no prospect in Gujarat.

“Arvind Kejriwal’s Delhi model has been exposed. You look at what he had done with Yamuna. We were not allowed to perform chhatth there because he didn’t fulfil his promise of cleaning the Yamuna,” he told The New Indian in an exclusive interview.

In the same breath he also criticised Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. “This the first time a man has left his home and walking on the roads without any specific purpose,” he said.

Nirahua is a star campaigner for the BJP in the state. He  added colour to the BJP’s campaign in Ahmedabad with his star presence. Ever ready with pithy one-liners, he enthralled his audience with his songs.

During the interaction, Nirahua said that Gujarat holds a special place in his heart because it was here that the “formation of new India began.”

“Gujarat was the first place where this revolution began and then it spread to whole of India with the help of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. Today, Modiji is an MP from Varanasi. When we see Varanasi now, everything has changed. There is no difference between Gujarat and UP. So people of Gujarat understand when they cast their vote, they don’t do it just for the progress of the state but also for the progress of the entire country.”

Nirahua is an Indian actor, singer, producer and politician associated with Bhojpuri-language films. He is among the most successful Bhojpuri actors, with successive five box office successes released in 2015
