Uttarakhand Paper Leak: STF Nabs Nainital Court Clerk

DEHRADUN: Special Task Force (STF) on Monday arrested a junior assistant in the Nainital Chief Judicial Magistrate court in connection with Uttarakhand Subordinate Selection Service Commission (UKSSSC) paper leak case.
Mahendra Chauhan, the clerk, is associated with two policemen arrested in the case a day ago in Kashipur, Udham Singh Nagar, as per the STF.
 
He was arrested after a long interrogation that concluded last night.
 
“Total 12 arrests have been made in the case till date. Investigation is on in the matter,” said Ajay Singh, senior superintendent of the STF.
 
The STF has conducted raids in Kumaon division of Uttarakhand in the last 24 hours.
 
Investigation has revealed that the strings of this scam are also connected to Lucknow in neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh.
