NEW DELHI: An old video of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma is going viral on social media in which they are seemingly taking digs at each other. While the tone of the entire conversation seems tongue-in-cheek, a section of netizens are taking them at face value.
“Anushka is an anxiety queen. She has to pop pills to even have a conversation. I have seen her taking anti-anxiety pills as she is frantic all the time. She has medication as well as hygiene problems but we accept her. She is special,” Ranbir said jocularly much to the chagrin of Anushka.
The ‘Sultan’ actress retorted by hinting that the ‘Rockstar’ actor snorts cocaine. “I think Ranbir takes drugs so that he can be more upbeat. Otherwise, he is such a boring person,” she stated.

Then Anushka makes a gesture of drawing lines suggesting that the actor consumes cocaine.
“Don’t say this on national television, Anushka,” Ranbir mockingly implores.
The video is at least 6 years old, much before Rhea Chakraborty and Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan were held by the Narcotics Control Bureau for the alleged possession of drugs.
So, are Anushka or Ranbir just joking or is there a semblance of truth in their assertions? We leave it to the discretion of the viewers.
