Haryana DSP Murder: Residents Demand Drone Patrolling To Stop Illegal Mining

NUH, HARYANA: A day after Mewat Deputy Superintendent of Police Surinder Singh Bishnoi was mowed down by the mining mafia in Haryana, the residents and market association members of Tawadu, Nuh on Wednesday demanded drone patrolling on hills to stop illegal mining in the area. They also demanded the harshest punishment for the perpetrators.

Hundreds of residents gathered at Anaj Mandi at Tawadu on Wednesday morning and condoled the brutal killing of the police officer. They also held a silent march from Mandi to the SDM office where they handed over a memorandum demanding action against the culprits.

The market in Tawadu remained shut for a day.

According to the memorandum, the residents demanded the perpetrators should be hanged and police should start doing drone patrolling in the hills of Panchgaon to stop the mining.

Residents said earlier also many officers were attacked by these mafias in the area. Police should take some serious measures to stop this illegal trade.
