Sunjwan Terror Attack Case: NIA Searches Multiple Locations In J&K

NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday carried out searches at multiple locations in Jammu and Kashmir in the Sunjwan terrorist attack case.

An NIA spokesperson here said that the agency sleuths conducted searches at three locations in Kashmir, one in Pulwama District and two locations in Anantnag district.

The above searches today led to the recovery and seizure of different types of incriminating materials, the official said.

According to agency sources, the searches were conducted at the premises linked to terrorist Aasif Ahmad in the Monghama Tral area.

The case relates to indiscriminate firing upon the security personnel on April 22 this year during a joint search operation in the area of Sunjwan by terrorists in which one ASI of CISF was killed and several others got injured.
