NEW DELHI: Balancehero India, the company behind the digital lending app True Balance, has appointed Ashish Aggarwal as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). An alumnus of BITS Pilani and an experienced leader in fintech and digital marketing, Aggarwal previously held prominent roles at BharatPe, Navi, Snapdeal, and Statiq. At BharatPe, he notably contributed to the success of PostPe, further solidifying his reputation as a growth and marketing expert.
In his new role, Aggarwal will oversee Balancehero India’s marketing strategies, aiming to scale digital products and implement data-driven initiatives. His expertise aligns with the company’s mission to enhance financial inclusion for India’s underserved population.

Souparno Bagchi, Chief Operating Officer of Balancehero India, praised Aggarwal’s leadership and understanding of the digital ecosystem, calling him a “remarkable addition” to the team. Balancehero India operates True Balance, a financial platform that offers services including loans, utility bill payments, and recharges. With over 95% of India’s pin codes covered, Balancehero aims to empower the next billion users with accessible financial solutions. It holds NBFC and PPI licenses and has raised $84 million in equity funding from global investors such as Softbank and Naver. Recognized as a “Soonicorn,” the company aligns with India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by focusing on financial inclusion.
