NEW DELHI: The Abu Dhabi T10 is set to return for its eighth season, beginning on November 21, with ten teams competing in cricket’s fastest format. The captains and head coaches for all teams have been announced, building excitement for the tournament.
Shakib Al Hasan will once again lead the Bangla Tigers, with Younis Khan continuing as their head coach for the third year. Nicholas Pooran retains the captaincy of the Deccan Gladiators, who will again be coached by Mushtaq Ahmed. Rovman Powell has been named the new captain of the Delhi Bulls, with Andy Flower returning as head coach after a three-year break. Northern Warriors will have Trent Boult as their new captain, supported by head coach Dav Whatmore.

Phil Salt will take over as captain for Team Abu Dhabi, with Mark Boucher stepping in as their new head coach. Rohan Mustafa will lead Morrisville Samp Army, with Lance Klusener as their head coach. The defending champions New York Strikers are sticking to their successful combination, with Kieron Pollard as captain and Carl Crowe as head coach. Chennai Braves Jaguars have named Thisara Perera as their captain and Chaminda Vaas as their head coach.
New entrants UP Nawabs will have Rahmanullah Gurbaz as their captain, with Owais Shah as head coach. Ajman Bolts, another debuting team, will be led by Mohammad Nabi and coached by Ottis Gibson.
The tournament will open with Team Abu Dhabi taking on Ajman Bolts on November 21. The defending champions, New York Strikers, will begin their campaign a day later against Morrisville Samp Army. Teams will compete in a round-robin format, with the top four advancing to the playoffs on December 1. The tournament will conclude with the final on December 2.
