Mahindra Group elevates Pramuch Goel as vice president, head of group communications

Mahindra Group has announced the elevation of Pramuch Goel to the position of Vice President and Head of Group Communications.

NEW DELHI: In a significant leadership change, Mahindra Group has announced the elevation of Pramuch Goel to the position of Vice President and Head of Group Communications, effective immediately. Goel previously served as the Strategic Communications Head for the Auto and Farm Sectors, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s messaging and brand image.

 

Reporting to Asha Kharga, Chief Customer and Brand Officer of Mahindra Group, Goel will now oversee the group communications team and manage the communications heads across various business sectors. He succeeds Varsha Chainani, who is leaving the group to pursue new opportunities but will remain until March 31 to ensure a smooth transition.

Asha Kharga expressed her confidence in Goel’s capabilities, stating, “Pramuch is an accomplished brand and communications leader who has been part of the Mahindra Group for several years. It has always been our endeavour to nurture and promote talent, and I am very pleased to see him grow and further his career with us.” She also extended her gratitude to Chainani for her contributions to the company.

 

Goel’s journey with Mahindra spans over five years, during which he has contributed significantly to various sectors, including Mahindra Lifespaces, Mahindra Holidays, and Mahindra Partners. He notably handled the IPO communications for Mahindra Logistics, showcasing his expertise in high-stakes communication scenarios.

With a rich professional background, Goel brings 25 years of experience in brand and communications, having worked with major global companies such as Samsung Electronics, Cisco Systems, and IBM. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the Birla Institute of Management Technology, further solidifying his credentials in the field.

 

As Mahindra Group continues to evolve, Pramuch Goel’s leadership in group communications is expected to enhance the company’s brand narrative and strategic messaging in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
