NEW DELHI: YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, widely known as Flying Beast, has responded to recent rumors regarding his marriage to wife Ritu Rathee. Speculation about their relationship troubles escalated after fans noticed Rathee’s appearance at the ‘Bhajan Marg’ event by Premanand Maharaj, where she raised concerns about infidelity and child custody.
Taneja took to Instagram on Saturday to address the swirling rumors for the first time. He wrote, “I will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don’t expect any public explanation.” Taneja urged his followers to “stop making any assumptions,” addressing the rapid judgment that often surrounds men in such situations.
The 38-year-old YouTuber expressed frustration with societal perceptions, saying, “Men are made villains very fast.” He also noted that social media is not the appropriate platform to air family matters and reiterated his intention to keep personal issues private. Taneja concluded his message with a hopeful sentiment that the challenges with his wife would be resolved soon.

Amid the controversy, an old vlog resurfaced, where Taneja discussed the topic of extramarital affairs, asserting that many occur due to neglect by wives after the birth of a child. In the video, he stated, “Most of the extramarital affairs, 80-82%, happen after having a baby,” emphasizing the importance of men dedicating time to their wives and families.
Gaurav Taneja is a prominent YouTuber and holds a Bachelor’s degree from IIT Kharagpur. Initially, he pursued a career as a pilot, working with IndiGo and later AirAsia, where he faced controversy for publicly criticizing the airline’s safety practices, leading to a probe and the suspension of two senior executives.
In addition to aviation, Taneja is a certified nutritionist and professional bodybuilder. He operates three YouTube channels: “Flying Beast,” “Fit Muscle TV,” and “Rasbhari Ke Papa,” where he shares content focused on fitness and nutrition. Taneja is married to Ritu Rathee, a captain on the Airbus A320, and they have two daughters, Kiara and Pihu.
