NEW DELHI: The Sattology event, an intellectual gathering aimed at promoting truth, humanity, and love, recently concluded at the Sage Creek Performing Arts Center.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Angel Sanchez Reyes, the revered leader of the Apache tribe. Addressing the audience, Chief Reyes emphasised the importance of promoting harmony and understanding among Americans, stating, “Truth, humanity, and love are the cornerstones of a unified society.”

The two-day event was attended by over 250 participants, with 80% of the audience being Americans who endorsed the event’s message. Sattology, which organizers defined as “the science or study of truth,” serves as an antonym to mythology and aims to present factual narratives based on thorough research and critical analysis. The event featured numerous published and popular authors from the U.S., India, Europe, and South America, each sharing their insights on culture, language, history, and spirituality.

These speakers discussed various themes, all tied to the four foundational pillars of the event: Language, Culture, History, and Spirituality.

“Language unites us all,” said one of the speakers, highlighting the power of both verbal and non-verbal communication in bridging divides. The event encouraged participants to explore the commonalities among different languages, emphasizing the role of communication in fostering a sense of global unity.

The event also featured cultural performances.

The culture pillar was another focus of the event, with speakers underscoring the shared human culture that transcends geographical boundaries. “A culture built on kindness, truth, cleanliness, and forgiveness gives strength to our purpose in life,” stated a speaker, reflecting the event’s ethos of discovering common human values.

History was presented as a source of hope for the future, with participants urging a truthful recounting of events as they happened, without distortion or narrative spinning. “Unfortunately, the history that is told to the world often divides us further,” one historian remarked, calling for a more unified approach to historical narratives.
