New Delhi: Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, released from jail after 17 months on Friday, enjoyed his first morning of freedom on Saturday.
He began his day by offering prayers to Lord Surya, after which he shared a cup of tea with his wife, Seema Sisodia. Sharing a picture on his ‘X’ handle, Sisodia wrote, “The first-morning tea of freedom, after 17 months. The freedom that the Constitution guarantees to all Indians is a right to life. The freedom that God has given us to breathe in the open air with everyone.”

On Saturday morning, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders and supporters began gathering at Manish Sisodia’s residence. As per the pre-scheduled program, Sisodia, along with his family members and party leaders, visited the ancient Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place to seek the blessings of Bajrang Bali.
Senior AAP leaders, including MP Sanjay Singh, Delhi ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, and Imran Hussain, also were present with him. Speaking to the media, Sisodia said, “I have prayed at the feet of Bajrang Bali for everyone, and Bajrang Bali has blessed me. Just as I have Bajrang Bali’s blessings, Arvind Kejriwal also has them, and Bajrang Bali will soon bless him too.”

After he visited Hanuman Mandir, Sisodia proceeded to Rajghat, the memorial of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. He paid his respects by bowing with folded hands and offering flowers at the Samadhi.
AAP leaders, including MP Sanjay Singh, Cabinet Ministers Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Imran Hussain, MLA Kuldeep Kumar, Adil Khan, and others, also paid their tributes by offering flowers at Mahatma Gandhi’s Samadhi.
