NEW DELHI: AAP’s National General Secretary (Organisation) and Rajya Sabha MP, Dr. Sandeep Pathak, announced that former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, recently granted bail, will visit Rajghat and a temple before addressing party workers at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) headquarters tomorrow. Dr. Pathak stated that Sisodia’s release marks the beginning of the end of the Modi government’s “dictatorship” and expressed confidence that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s release from jail is also imminent.
Dr. Pathak highlighted that, for the past two years, the BJP has been allegedly conspiring to imprison top AAP leaders, including Kejriwal, to weaken the party and prevent them from contesting elections. He emphasized that Sisodia, who was jailed for 17 months, was targeted dictatorially by the Modi government, and this had stalled the work he had done for the people of Delhi.

He further remarked that history has shown that dictatorships have an expiry date, and today’s Supreme Court decision granting Sisodia bail marks the beginning of the end for the Modi government’s authority. The Supreme Court criticized central government agencies for their handling of the case, noting that the trial has not even begun yet. The court underscored Article 21, reinforcing Sisodia’s right to freedom and granting him bail without restrictions on his activities.
Dr. Pathak assured that with Sisodia’s return, governance in Delhi will gain new momentum. Sisodia is scheduled to visit Rajghat at around 9 AM, followed by a temple visit at 10 AM, before arriving at the AAP headquarters at 11 AM to address party workers.
“Manish Sisodia is our senior leader, and his leadership will rejuvenate our efforts. The BJP has consistently hindered Delhiites—first by disrupting water supplies in the summer and now by playing politics during the rainy season. With Sisodia’s release, our governance will be reinvigorated, and we will all find new energy to serve the people of Delhi,” Dr. Pathak concluded.
