Delhi: Girl attacks auto driver in Nihal Vihar

New Delhi: A shocking incident has been reported in Nihal Vihar, where a girl attacked an auto driver with a sharp weapon, leaving him with severe injuries requiring 17 stitches. A two-minute-long video of the incident has now gone viral on social media.

In the video, the girl (Bullet Rani) could be seen hitting the auto driver Shiv Shankar) with a belt and other weapons. The auto driver could be seen standing in a pool of blood. According to the information, the auto driver was dropping off his children at school when the incident occurred.

Shiv Shankar had quarrelled with the girl’s brother over some issue and threatened him. When the girl found out, she arrived on a bullet (motorcycle) to take revenge for her brother’s humiliation.

Speaking with The New Indian, the additional DCP of Outer Delhi, Amit Verma said that they have lodged an FIR. “The FIR has been lodged under sections that cover an attempt to commit culpable homicide. The girl is a minor. We are looking into the matter,” said the official.

In the video, it could also be heard that the girl was trying to run away when people blocked her way and called the police. The girl could be heard saying it was the fault of the auto driver but the onlookers said that she didn’t have any right to attack anyone with a sharp-edged weapon.
