NEW DELHI: In a review meeting on development projects and law enforcement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the appointment of a nodal officer for each project, with a weekly progress report to be submitted. He emphasized that senior officers should review each project every fifteen days, and monthly meetings with legislators should be conducted to review project progress and address suggestions. Each project should have a specified timeline for completion, ensuring quality within that period.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a review meeting with legislators and officials on Saturday afternoon at the Annex building, discussing progress updates from various departments including Public Works, Irrigation, Municipal Corporation, Water Corporation, GDA, and GIDA. He stressed the need for swift registry of acquired lands for development projects and timely distribution of compensation without any delays.

Furthermore, CM Yogi emphasized the importance of flood prevention measures, directing continuous attention to the Gorakhdham Project. He also warned against any waterlogging issues during the monsoon and instructed officials to ensure all drains are cleaned promptly.

In his review of flood control projects, CM Yogi urged for accelerated work and inspection of embankments in collaboration with local representatives. He emphasized the need for public feedback to improve project efficiency.

Regarding healthcare, CM Yogi mentioned successful control measures against Japanese Encephalitis (JE) and Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) and instructed continuous vigilance even during the upcoming monsoon session. He also reviewed the progress of the Ekla Bandh project and emphasized the development of Miyawaki forests in the region.

On civic amenities, CM Yogi stressed attentive management of water supply, sanitation, and uninterrupted power supply in urban and rural areas. He directed officials to resolve citizen issues promptly and take strict action against negligent officers.

Regarding employment, CM Yogi instructed the organization of monthly job fairs to provide more opportunities for youth. He also emphasized strict action against criminal elements, especially mafia activities, and urged improved traffic management to avoid congestion on roads.

The Chief Minister’s review meeting included Mayor Dr. Mangelesh Srivastav, MLA Dr. Dharmendra Singh, and senior officials from administration, police, and various departments. CM Yogi conducted on-site inspections of the ongoing Devriya Bypass construction and drainage projects, emphasizing the importance of quality and timely completion without compromising standards.
