Congress Candidate From Barabanki Tanuj Punia Speaks Exclusively To Rohan Dua

The ‘entrance to Poorvanchal’, Barabanki District of U.P. have witnessed the voting in 5th phase for the Lok Sabha elections on 20th May. In the last Lok Sabha election, Upendra Singh Rawat of the BJP emerged victorious from this seat, defeating Ram Sagar Rawat of Samajwadi Party by a margin of about Lakh votes from this seat. For this year’s Lok Sabha election, Tanuj Puniya, a candidate from Indian National Congress representing INDIA alliance contested against the main rival candidate Rajrani Rawat of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Barabanki. He is the son of a retired IAS who served as a MP in Rajya Sabha named P.L. Puniya comes from the Dalit family.
