Businessman’s son assaulted, thrown from hotel terrace in New Delhi

NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident, Sarthak Agarwal, the son of renowned businessman Sanjay Aggarwal, was brutally assaulted and thrown from the terrace of Hotel Radisson by armed goons. The victim has suffered severe injuries all over his body, including his face and chest, and is currently in critical condition.

Sarthak Agarwal, who resides in the Rajender Nagar area, was attending a Roka function at Hotel Radisson when the incident occurred. According to Sanjay Aggarwal, cloth merchant Rhydhim Arora and his father Satish Arora, who were in an inebriated state, started misbehaving with Sarthak for no apparent reason. When Sarthak opposed them, he was threatened with dire consequences and was subsequently thrown from the first floor of the hotel.

The accused also attempted to assault Sarthak’s friend, Nandikar. Sanjay further alleged that the accused descended the stairs and kicked his unconscious son. “They even pulled out a pistol and aimed it at my son who was lying unconscious. I was stunned when I heard all these,” he said.

Sarthak was rushed to SRMS Hospital by his friends, where he is currently battling for his life under the observation of a team of doctors. A complaint was lodged with the Izzat Nagar Police Station by Sanjay.

Following the complaint, a team from the local police station was immediately dispatched to the hotel. The team interrogated the entire staff and collected CCTV footage of the incident. The police stated that the accused fled the scene soon after the incident and efforts are underway to trace them with the help of technical surveillance.

CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, capturing the entire incident which lasted 2 minutes and 12 seconds. In the footage, the accused can be seen assaulting the victim. Sarthak can also be seen apologizing to the accused. Despite this, the accused dragged him near the edge of the terrace and threw him down. When a friend rushed to his rescue, the accused also tried to throw him down, but he managed to escape.

The police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused and the investigation into the matter is ongoing.
