Hailing from Mizoram, Subedar Thanseia’s illustrious life was marked by extraordinary acts of bravery during World War II, notably at the Battle of Kohima, a pivotal moment in the conflict.
His valorous contributions to the 1st Assam Regiment, particularly during their deployment at Jessami, underscored his unwavering commitment to duty and nation. Subedar Thanseia’s indomitable spirit and courage played a crucial role in securing victory for the Allied forces in the face of formidable challenges.
