The Kerala Startup Mission event will bring together internationally recognized startup founders, mentors, investors, industry leaders, and decision-makers for dynamic discussions spanning various themes and fostering business collaborations.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala, firmly establishing its presence in India’s startup domain with the renowned beach-side startup festival Huddle Global since 2018, gears up for the sixth edition of the event organized by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), scheduled to take place at the picturesque beach destination Kovalam near the state capital from November 28 to 30, 2024.

Kerala Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate ‘Huddle Global 2024’, presenting significant opportunities for the state’s flourishing startup ecosystem to secure funding, expand business operations, and establish global connections. The event will bring together internationally recognized startup founders, mentors, investors, industry leaders, and decision-makers for dynamic discussions spanning various themes and fostering business collaborations.

“Huddle Global has consistently made a substantial impact as the country’s premier beach-side startup festival. The 2023 edition held at Adimalathura near Kerala’s capital witnessed a massive convergence of stakeholders from across the globe. With a steady rise in participation over the years, the forthcoming edition is poised to draw an even larger audience of stakeholders,” stated KSUM CEO Shri Anoop Ambika.

Beyond showcasing Kerala’s inspiring startup journey, the overarching objective of Huddle Global 2024 is to position the state as a global technology hub, boasting a vibrant startup ecosystem driving a wide array of products and services fueled by cutting-edge technologies.

Previous editions of Huddle Global garnered an overwhelming response from stakeholders. ‘Huddle Global 2024’ aims to sustain this momentum, offering extensive partnership opportunities for Kerala’s resilient startup ecosystem, added Shri Anoop. The event promises significant prospects for well-established, emerging, and aspiring enterprises in deep technology and various other domains leveraging advanced technologies.

It will feature extensive discussions on the trajectory of the state’s new startup policy and strategies for securing funds to further nurture the ecosystem. Aligned with its inclusive vision, the conference will provide a platform for the digital transformation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), enabling them to harness new technologies, reduce operational costs, and expand their business reach.

The three-day event anticipates over 20,000 attendees, including 8,000-plus startups, 500-plus High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), 400-plus mentors, over 250 investors, and 200-plus corporate executives. Huddle Global 2024 will witness the signing of MoUs with startups, corporate investment announcements, the forging of business partnerships, networking sessions, and mentor speed dating.

A startup expo, featuring over 250 startups showcasing their products and services, will be a highlight of the event. With over 200 speakers from around the world sharing their perspectives and insights on various themes, the event will shed light on the global business and technology landscape.

The key sectors of the conference include edutech, Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR), fintech, life sciences, space tech, health tech, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), e-governance, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning (ML). In addition to the super coders’ challenge, the conference will feature engaging segments such as marketing madness, founders’ meet, partner-in-growth, impact 50, pitch-it-right, branding challenge, huddle speed rating, build-it-big, tiger’s claw, and sun-down huddle.

The event will also offer master classes by corporates/investors, open pitches with 100 investors, discussions on pan-India collaborations, funding and business announcements, roundtable discussions, investor meetups, mentor meetings, and corporate challenges. KSUM, the nodal agency of the Kerala Government for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state, has been organizing ‘Huddle Kerala’ since 2018.
