The meeting, attended by prominent figures including party general secretary Sunil Bansal, Tarun Chugh, Union Ministers Bhupender Yadav, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Mansukh Mandaviya, along with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, emphasised the party’s commitment to meticulous planning for both events.
In discussions related to the Ram Mandir, leaders were urged to engage with people nationwide, spreading awareness about the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram. BJP workers have been tasked with creating a festive atmosphere akin to Diwali on January 22, urging everyone to participate in the Pran Pratishtha programme of the Ram Temple.
Addressing the gathering, BJP National President JP Nadda emphasised the importance of ensuring that every person in Ayodhya has the opportunity to witness the darshan of Ram Lalla without inconvenience, highlighting a non-discriminatory approach to arrangements.
The BJP has outlined a comprehensive campaign from January 25 to March 25, aiming to mobilise workers from every booth to visit the Ram Temple. Plans include facilitating approximately 50,000 daily visitors with arrangements for their stay in Ayodhya. A network of 35 trains will operate daily, connecting from 430 cities across the country.
The party is collaborating with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) for widespread outreach, with workers reaching out to every person and household, encouraging participation in the grand inauguration either physically or through live viewing. Workers are distributing Akshatam (rice in holy form) for the inauguration day.
Simultaneously, the BJP discussed its electoral strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, unveiling a new slogan, ‘Teesri baar Modi sarkar, abki baar 400 paar.’ The party also announced the formation of a committee dedicated to Lok Sabha polls, entrusted with selecting new office bearers for each constituency and making decisions on party membership.
As the BJP gears up for these significant events, the party’s meticulous planning and outreach initiatives highlight its commitment to ensuring a successful and inclusive participation in both the democratic process and the cultural landmark of the Ram Mandir inauguration.
